This Privacy Policy governs our use of any personal information we collect concerning your use of BookSlot (“our app”). The use of information collected through our app shall be limited to the purposes under this Policy.
Avista Information Systems LLP understands that your privacy is important and that you care about how your personal and non-personal information is used and shared online. We respect and value the privacy of everyone who visits our app and will only collect and use information in ways that are useful to you and consistent with your rights and our obligations under the law.

1. Introduction
This Policy applies to our processing of your personal information when you access and/or use our app. This Policy applies to you as a visitor, staff user, representative, or end-customer who books through a public booking page, as applicable.
This Privacy Policy applies only to your use of our app and does not extend to any websites that are linked to our app (whether we provide those links or whether they are shared by other users), except where we explicitly state otherwise.

In this Policy the following terms shall have the following meanings:
- Account: means an account required to access and/or use certain areas and features of our app, typically through Microsoft 365 single sign-on.
- Our app: means this app, BookSlot.
- Personal Information: means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person.
- Process: means any operation or set of operations that is performed on personal information or sets of personal information, whether or not by automated means, such as collection, recording, organization, structuring, storage, adaptation or alteration, retrieval, consultation, use, disclosure by transmission, dissemination or otherwise making available, alignment or combination, restriction, erasure or destruction.
- Services: means the scheduling and booking services provided by Avista Information Systems LLP / BookSlot.
- We/Us/Our: means Avista Information Systems LLP, whose registered address is 602/B, New Samadhan CHSL, Mumbai, India - 400 028.
3. Personal Identification Information We Collect
We may collect personal identification information from users in a variety of ways, including when users visit our app, sign in with Microsoft, connect a calendar, create booking pages, or when customers submit a booking through a public scheduling link.
Depending on how you use BookSlot, the data we collect may include:
- Microsoft user ID and tenant ID (identifiers generated by Microsoft Entra ID)
- Full name, email address, and display name from your Microsoft profile
- Calendar availability and event metadata needed to show free/busy times and create bookings (via Microsoft Graph)
- Booking details such as meeting title, time, duration, location type, and Teams meeting links
- Information customers provide on booking forms (for example name, email, phone, and custom intake fields configured by the host)
- Organisation and booking-page configuration you create inside the app
We collect personal identification information only as needed to provide the Services. Users can refuse to supply certain information, except that doing so may prevent them from using calendar-connected features or completing bookings.
4. Non-personal Identification Information We Collect
We may collect non-personal identification information about users whenever they interact with our app. Non-personal identification information may include the browser name, device type, operating system, IP address, technical information about your connection to our app, and similar diagnostic information.
5. How We May Use Collected Information
We will use your personal information only as described in this Privacy Policy and shall process your personal information only if we have a legal basis. We may use your personal information in the following ways:
- To provide scheduling, calendar sync, booking, and Microsoft Teams meeting creation features
- To send booking confirmations, reminders, and related service notifications
- To respond to communications from you
- To analyze your use of our app and improve reliability and user experience
- To gather feedback to enable us to continually improve our app
- To adapt your preferences to your experience on our app
We will not send you spam and will take reasonable steps to ensure that we comply with applicable law. Avista Information Systems LLP may also use call-to-action buttons, banners, or similar prompts within the app or on related marketing pages.
6. Data Retention Period
Avista Information Systems LLP retains personal information where an ongoing legitimate business requires retention, such as for litigation or defense purposes, to comply with legal obligations, maintain accurate records, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When retention is no longer required, we will delete or aggregate your personal information, or securely store and isolate it from further processing until deletion is possible.

BookSlot integrates with Microsoft 365 services (including Microsoft Graph, Outlook calendar, and Microsoft Teams) to deliver its core functionality. We share only the information necessary for those services to operate.
In certain circumstances, we may be legally required to share certain data held by us, which may include your personal information, for example where we are involved in legal proceedings or where we are complying with legislation, a court order, or a governmental authority. We do not require further consent from you to share your data in such circumstances and will comply with any legally binding request.
9. Children’s Privacy
We recognize the importance of children's safety and privacy. We do not request, or knowingly collect, personally identifiable information from children under the age of 16. If a parent or guardian becomes aware that a child has provided us with personal information, they should contact us at the email address outlined in this Policy.
10. International Transfer of Personal Information
Your personal information and files, including backups, may be stored on our servers and on servers of companies we hire to provide services to us. Your personal information may be transferred across national borders because we or our service providers may operate in different countries.
The information that we collect from you may be transferred to and stored in a country outside the European Economic Area (EEA). It may also be processed by staff or subprocessors operating outside the EEA. Avista Information Systems LLP will not sell your personal information without your prior consent.
C. Nevada Privacy Rights
Nevada law requires us to inform certain Nevada residents of the option to opt out of the “sale” of “personally identifiable information,” as defined by Nevada law. We do not engage in such activity; however, if you are a Nevada resident who has purchased goods or services from us, you may submit a request to opt out of any potential future sales by emailing help@getbookslot.in.

Our app and services may contain links to third-party websites, including Microsoft 365 and customer booking pages. These third-party platforms have separate and independent privacy policies. We have no responsibility or liability for the content and activities of those linked sites, including their information practices.

We may change this Privacy Policy as we deem necessary from time to time, or as required by law. Your continued use of our services after any changes or revisions to this Privacy Policy indicates your agreement to the terms of the revised Privacy Policy.
